Clear Solar Announces Collaboration with Ellipsol to Field Test ClearAdvantage in India

Clear Solar and Ellipsol will evaluate ClearAdvantage on solar panels in India, with plans
to explore future applications for solar concentrators.

HURLEY, N.Y. — [June 2, 2026
] — Clear Solar Corporation, developer of ClearAdvantage, a
waterless electrostatic cleaning system for solar panels and other critical surfaces, today
announced a collaboration with Ellipsol Systems Private Limited to support field testing of
ClearAdvantage in India.

The collaboration will begin with outdoor testing of ClearAdvantage on solar panels in India,
where dust, heat, humidity, wind, and other environmental conditions can materially impact solar
asset performance. As Clear Solar collects field data from solar panel testing, the companies
also plan to explore potential applications for Ellipsol’s solar concentrator technologies.
ClearAdvantage is designed to reduce the operational burden of keeping solar panels clean by
using electrostatic forces to remove dust and particulates without water, brushes, or moving
cleaning hardware. The system is being developed to help solar operators improve energy
production, reduce cleaning costs, and operate more effectively in dusty and water-constrained
environments.

“India is one of the most important solar markets in the world, and it is also a market where
environmental conditions can create real operational challenges for solar operators,” said Mike
Provenzano, CEO of Clear Solar. “Working with Ellipsol gives us an opportunity to evaluate
ClearAdvantage in a highly relevant field environment while learning from a team that
understands both solar deployment and the Indian energy market.”

“We are pleased to work with Clear Solar to evaluate ClearAdvantage in India,” said Samarth
Jain, CEO of Ellipsol. “Dust and soiling are challenges for solar deployment, and waterless
cleaning technologies have the potential to improve performance while reducing maintenance
burden. We look forward to supporting the field trial and exploring future applications across
solar panels and concentrator systems.”

Under the field trial agreement, Ellipsol will arrange the test location in India, perform local
installation, and conduct the outdoor environmental testing. Clear Solar will provide the
prototype ClearAdvantage hardware, operational software, and manage the collection of field
test data. The initial field trial is intended to evaluate installation practicality, prototype
survivability, visible soiling removal behavior, operability, and electrical and environmental
observations under real-world outdoor conditions.

“We value partners who are willing to test novel technologies thoughtfully and move quickly
while staying grounded in real field data. That is exactly the type of collaboration we are building
with Ellipsol,” Provenzano added. The collaboration marks another step in Clear Solar’s broader
effort to validate ClearAdvantage across diverse field environments and solar asset
configurations.

About Clear Solar
Clear Solar Corporation is developing ClearAdvantage, a waterless electrostatic cleaning
system for solar panels and other critical surfaces. Based on electrodynamic dust removal
technology originally developed for space applications, ClearAdvantage is designed to remove
dust and debris from solar panels without water, brushes, or moving cleaning equipment. Clear
Solar’s mission is to help solar operators maximize energy production, reduce operating costs,
and improve solar reliability in dusty, arid, and hard-to-clean environments.

About Ellipsol
Ellipsol Systems Private Limited is an India-based solar technology company focused on
practical solar solutions for industrial heat and related energy applications. Ellipsol’s work
includes solar concentrator technologies and low-cost solar steam and hot water systems for
industrial users in sectors such as food, chemicals, and textiles.
